L2TP VPN Setup under Windows 10
***If you do not prefer to setup manually please download our one click no need to install
software and run it as administrator by right click and connect***
Step:1 Click on Action Center icon on lower right corner and click VPN icon.
Step:2 Click Add a VPN Connection.
Step:3 Select and enter below settings into newly opened window.
a) VPN provider.Select Windows (built-in) option.
b) Connection name.Enter Connection name of the EarthVPN location you want to connect.For example you can enter EarthVPN London L2TP.
c) Server name or address.Enter server address of EarthVPN location you want to connect.You may find the server address list on your account activation mail or on the below link.

d) VPN type.Select Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol with IPsec (L2TP/IPSEC) or L2TP/IPSEC with pre-shared key.
e) Type of sign-in info.Select User name and password.
f) Username.Enter your EarthVPN VPN username.Please keep in mind that earthvpn client area and vpn login details are different.
g) Password.Enter your EarthVPN VPN password.Please keep in mind that earthvpn client area and vpn login details are different.
h) Click Save icon.
Step:4 Click on Change adapter options.Right click on the newly added EarthVPN London L2TP adapter and click on Properties.
Step:5 Click on the Security tab and Set the Data encryption to Maximum strength encryption (disconnect if server declines). Down below in the Authentication context, make sure to have only Microsoft CHAP Version 2 (MS-CHAP v2) selected.
Step:6 Click Advanced Settings. Select Use pre-shared key for authentication and be sure to use lowercase letters and type earthvpn into the use preshared key for authentication textbox . Then click the OK button.
Step:7 Switch to theNetworking tab.
On the Networking tab, uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 and File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks and click OK.
Step:8 Click on newly created vpn connection EarthVPN London L2TP and click connect icon..
Step:9 You will see Connected sign in case everything is correct.You may verify your IP and location is changed by visiting http://www.iplocation.net on your browser..
